Use and operation
The tool installs threaded rivet nuts in thin metal sheets and tubes. Place a rivet nut in a drilled hole, fit the matching nosepiece, then pull the tool to deform the nut and form an internal thread.
Material thickness by thread size
- M5: 0.5–2.5 mm
- M6: 0.5–3.0 mm
- M8, M10 and M12: 0.5–3.5 mm
Matching the hole diameter, rivet nut size and material thickness helps produce a secure fit. For load-bearing vehicle components, check that the fastening method is suitable.
Included components
The set includes the tool, 30 rivet nuts each in M5, M6, M8, M10 and M12, five nosepieces (M5, M6, M8, M10 and M12), one assembly wrench and one storage case. The case keeps the components sorted for storage and transport.
Replacement nosepieces and additional rivet nuts are sold separately.
