The enameled cast iron provides even heat distribution and retains heat in the oven. The pizza plate has a 31 cm inner diameter. The grill plate has ridges that create grill marks and help drain fat.
Size and handling
The plates have a base thickness of 5 mm and weigh approximately 2.71 kg. Outer dimensions, including handles, are approximately 37.0 cm for the pizza plate and L 36.0 × W 26.0 cm for the grill plate. Check your oven's interior width against the plate dimensions. Use suitable heat protection when handling hot plates.
Use and care
- Designed for oven use only, up to 260 °C; use on an open grill is not intended.
- After cooling, wash by hand with warm water and a soft brush. Do not use abrasive cleaners or put the plate in a dishwasher.
- Check the surface for damage before each use. The plate may break if dropped; do not use damaged pieces.
