Cooking with the drop system

The lid’s drop system collects condensation and returns it to the food as fine droplets, helping keep food moist during braising. The casserole is suitable for roasts, poultry and other braised dishes.

Stovetop and oven use

The casserole works on gas, glass ceramic, halogen, electric and induction stovetops. It is oven-safe up to about 260 °C, so it can be transferred from the stovetop to the oven.

Care

The enamel coating is applied inside and outside. Clean by hand with warm water and, if needed, a little dish soap. It is not dishwasher-safe.

Size and handling

The usable capacity is about 1.05 l, with interior dimensions of Ø 16 x H 8 cm. Exterior dimensions are about L 21.5 x Ø 16.9 x H 8.5 cm. Two side handles help with carrying, and the lid has a knob.
