Diagnostic functions
The scanner reads and clears fault codes, with a DTC search that provides descriptions of the codes. It can also retrieve VIN, CIN and CVN information, and display live data and freeze-frame data.
- The emissions quick test (I/M readiness) uses a colour-coded LED indicator to show the status of emissions-related monitors.
- A drive-cycle test tracks conditions relevant to emissions-test readiness.
- Graphical voltage checks and start and charging tests help assess the battery and charging system.
Results and operation
The 2.4" TFT colour screen has a menu available in seven languages. The device can store up to 350 test results. Results can be displayed on a smartphone using a generated QR code.
Power is supplied by the vehicle when the ignition is on; no separate battery is required. The device is intended for indoor use only.
