For precise cutting and detail work
The set includes a fine saw, mitre box, hand fret saw, coping saw and Japanese pull saw. Inductively hardened teeth are designed to retain their cutting edge. The fine saw is intended for wood, steel and plastic; for thick or hardened metals, the source recommends specialist metal blades and machines.
Fine saw
Its 250 mm blade has 12 TPI, a 55 mm width and teeth sharpened on both sides. The blade guard helps protect the blade during transport.
Mitre box
Made of aluminium and wood, it has fixed stops for 90°, 45° and −45° cuts. A table stop and fibreboard insert are included. The box weighs approximately 280 g.
Hand fret saw
Designed for curved cuts and cutouts in worktops or doors, it has a 300 mm blade with 7 TPI and a 32 mm width. Its teeth are sharpened on both sides.
Coping saw
Designed for fine cuts in thin wood and detailed contours, it has a 165 mm blade with 14 TPI and a lightweight, stable frame.
Japanese pull saw
Designed to cut on the pull stroke for thin kerfs, including dowel work and dovetail joints. Two 170 mm blades are included, with 17 and 22 teeth respectively.
Handling
The fine saw, hand fret saw and coping saw have two-component soft-grip handles. Blade guards are included.
