Handling and care
Handle lengths range from approximately 62 to 83 cm, providing reach and leverage. Keep a firm stance and use controlled swings. Wear suitable protective clothing, check that the head is firmly attached before each use, and do not use a tool with a damaged handle.
After use, remove dirt and resin and dry the tools. Check the head-to-handle fit regularly, and carefully sharpen the edge when needed. Wipe the steel heads occasionally to help prevent surface corrosion. Store the tools in a dry, protected place out of children’s reach.
