Product details
Interactive play with wooden railway components
The set combines wooden railway play with interactive features. The locomotive moves forward and backward and stops automatically when infrared sensors detect obstacles. Magnetic coupling lets children connect the vehicles. The interactive station set also has a speaker with recording and playback functions, and LED lights on arches and signals.
Play and learning
Placing tracks and vehicles and creating play scenes can support fine motor skills, coordination, spatial thinking and imaginative role play. The interactive features invite children to experiment with recorded voices, sounds and lights.
Materials, care and safety
The components combine beech wood, plastic and magnets. Clean surfaces with a dry or slightly damp cloth, and keep electronic parts and connections dry. Do not immerse electronic components in water. Follow the instructions; an adult should remove or replace batteries. The source states that the locomotive is supplied with batteries, but also says it uses a button cell and refers to changing it; battery inclusion is therefore unclear.
Light flashes may trigger epilepsy in sensitive people. Not suitable for children under 36 months due to small parts that may be swallowed and pose a choking hazard. The set contains a button cell, which is hazardous if swallowed.
