Three designs are described: a rectangular board for general preparation, a board with a profiled surface to help keep food from slipping, and a version with a sharpening stone for sharpening a knife on the board. The profiled-surface design measures approximately 40.0 × 28.0 × 1.9 cm; the rectangular and sharpening-stone designs each measure approximately 37.5 × 25.6 × 1.8 cm.
The bamboo board has a perimeter juice groove, four feet, and a metal handle that can also be used for hanging. The source describes bamboo as knife-friendly and the solid panels as stable during regular use.
Care
- Hand wash; the board is not dishwasher-safe. Do not leave it soaking.
