Product details
Grits and use
- 400/800 grit for removing burrs, nicks and other damage.
- 1000/6000 grit for fine sharpening and polishing.
- Suitable for kitchen knives, pocket knives and household scissors.
Base and dimensions
The non-slip silicone base helps keep the whetstone in place, while the bamboo support provides a stable surface and helps reduce vibration. Dimensions: approx. L 21 x W 9 x H 5.7 cm.
Care and safety
Before first use, wet the surface with water. Use water while sharpening to clear metal filings from the grit. After each use, clean the whetstone. For heavily damaged edges, start with the coarse grit, then use the fine grit to deburr and polish. Handle sharp tools carefully and keep children away from the work surface; gloves can provide additional protection.
