Heat retention and even cooking

The cast iron construction retains heat and distributes it evenly. A base thickness of approx. 0.5 cm helps reduce temperature fluctuations and hot spots, making the saucepan suitable for searing and slow cooking.

Enamel coating and care

The enamel coating inside and outside helps protect the cast iron and makes cleaning easier. Soak small residues and remove them with a soft sponge. Abrasive cleaners are not recommended. Hand washing is recommended; the saucepan is not dishwasher-safe.

Lid with Drop System

Nubs on the lid collect condensation and return it to the food as droplets during cooking, helping roasts stay moist and flavorful while reducing the need for manual basting.

Use and capacity

Suitable for gas, glass ceramic, halogen, electric and induction hobs. Oven-safe up to approx. 260 °C. Capacity is 2.2 l, with a usable capacity of approx. 1.76 l, suitable for side dishes, smaller roasts and sauces.
