Cable Stripping and Cutting Tool

Three tools for cable work

The set contains one multi-purpose stripping plier and two cable shears, in 180 mm and 205 mm variants. They are made of stainless steel and plastic and have a release lever that helps secure the tools in the resting position and open them for use.

Applications and cable sizes

• The multi-purpose stripping plier is specified for cable diameters of 0.6, 0.8, 1.0, 1.3, 1.6, 2.0 and 2.6 mm.
• The 180 mm cable shears are specified for 1.0, 1.5, 2.5 and 4.0 mm cable diameters.
• The 205 mm cable shears are specified for 0.6, 0.8, 1.0, 1.3, 1.6, 2.0 and 2.6 mm cable diameters.
• AWG compatibility is 22–10, depending on the variant.

Handling and care

Each tool weighs approximately 158–201 g. Wipe the blades dry after use; a thin film of oil may be applied to reduce friction. Clean plastic parts with a mild cleaning agent and allow them to dry completely.
