Low-temperature glue sticks

For heat-sensitive materials

These glue sticks bond at lower temperatures to help protect heat-sensitive surfaces. Depending on the variant, the working temperature is about 85 °C (±5 °C) or 90 °C (±5 °C). The reduced heat helps lower the risk of discoloration or warping while allowing quick initial adhesion.

Compatibility and dimensions

The sticks measure about 1.1 cm in diameter × 28 cm long and fit hot glue guns with an 11 mm socket, including the PARKSIDE PHP 500. Compatible materials include plastics, ceramics, leather, cardboard, cork and fabric. Clear variants are suited to discreet bonds; colored and glitter variants add decorative accents.

Variants and uses

  • Glitter and colored variants for decorative and craft projects.
  • Clear variants for sealing and repairs.
  • Black and yellow variants for specific visual uses; yellow sticks are formulated for wood-based materials.
  • Ultra Power sticks provide about 30% greater bonding strength than standard sticks for more demanding or load-bearing joints.

Application

Before applying, make sure surfaces are dry, clean and free of grease. For heat-sensitive materials, test the glue on a small area first. The glue sets quickly and forms a flexible bond; curing time depends on layer thickness and material. A short pressing time may be sufficient, but test first if needed.
