Car Battery Charger
A charger and diagnostic device for 12 V car and van batteries with capacities of 8–250 Ah. It provides up to 6 A for car batteries and up to 17 A for van batteries.
The Push function precharges a low battery for 20 min before applying a 75 A starting pulse. A battery tester displays charge as a percentage, and the unit is protected against reverse polarity, short circuits and overloads.

Charging and battery compatibility
The charger operates from a 230 V connection and provides up to 6 A for car batteries and up to 17 A for van batteries. It is compatible with STD, GEL, MF, EFB, AGM and LFP (lithium iron phosphate) batteries. A microprocessor adjusts the charging strategy to the selected battery type. Automatic regeneration and maintenance are also described.
An integrated temperature sensor adjusts the charging characteristic at low temperatures. The housing is made of plastic and sheet steel.
Diagnostics and Push function
The digital LC segment display shows voltage and charge level as a percentage. The charger has an integrated battery tester and alternator tester; it also displays indications of a defective battery.
For a heavily discharged battery, the Push function precharges it for 20 min and then applies a 75 A starting pulse to assist engine starting.
Use and handling
- Fully insulated pole clamps are used to connect the charger to the battery.
- An integrated charging-cable holder provides storage for the cable.
