Splitting Axe, Forest Axe or Sledgehammer
This selection offers three tools for different wood and impact tasks: a splitting axe for splitting firewood, a forest axe for felling and pruning smaller logs, and a sledgehammer for tasks requiring strong impact.
Plastic handles provide grip and absorb vibration. Check the handle and head regularly, remove dirt and resin after use, and store the tools in a dry place out of children’s reach.

Tool uses
- Splitting axe, 2.0 kg: Designed for splitting firewood. Its head shape creates a broad splitting effect.
- Forest axe, 1.25 kg: Designed for felling and pruning smaller logs. Its narrower edge helps it penetrate wood.
- Sledgehammer, 4.0 kg: Provides strong impact for demanding tasks.
Handling and care
Handle lengths range from approximately 62 to 83 cm, providing reach and leverage. Keep a firm stance and use controlled swings. Wear suitable protective clothing, check that the head is firmly attached before each use, and do not use a tool with a damaged handle.
After use, remove dirt and resin and dry the tools. Check the head-to-handle fit regularly, and carefully sharpen the edge when needed. Wipe the steel heads occasionally to help prevent surface corrosion. Store the tools in a dry, protected place out of children’s reach.
