Weather protection and movement
Designed for skiing, snowboarding and freeride-oriented hikes, these trousers have a windproof and waterproof outer fabric with a 3,000 mm water column. The main seams are taped to reduce moisture penetration. The loose fit has a dropped crotch to allow freedom of movement.
Fit and practical details
The partially elasticated waistband adjusts with a hook-and-loop fastening, snap buttons and a zip. Side pockets with zips and a cargo pocket on the leg provide storage. A concealed zip at the lower leg widens the opening for putting the trousers on over ski boots. Integrated snow gaiters with anti-slip elastic help keep snow out and hold the trousers in place over boots.
Lightweight insulation provides warmth without much bulk. For extremely low temperatures, the source recommends pairing the trousers with an insulating mid-layer.
Care
- Wash at a maximum of 40 °C on a delicate cycle.
- Do not bleach. Tumble dry gently at a maximum of 60 °C.
- Iron at up to 110 °C (setting 1); do not use steam.
- Do not dry clean.
