This digital wall scanner detects metal, live wires and wood behind walls, ceilings and floors before drilling. It displays object depth and distance to the object’s center, with an acoustic warning and LED signal.
Detection depth is up to 120 mm for metal. The supplied storage bag and alkaline batteries (3 × 1.5 V AA) are included.

Detection and measurement
The scanner detects magnetic and non-magnetic metal, live wires and wood substructures. Maximum detection depth is 120 mm for metal, 38 mm for wood and 60 mm for live wires. These figures are guidelines and may vary with material thickness. The display shows object depth and distance to its center to help position drill holes.
Controls and signals
A 2.8-inch LCD display presents measurements. Five buttons control mode and setting selection, and automatic calibration in object mode helps prepare the scanner for measurement. An acoustic warning and LED signal indicate detected objects. A marking aid on the housing helps transfer an object's position to the wall.
Handling and intended use
The plastic housing has a non-slip soft-grip finish and a sliding surface on the back for guiding the scanner along a wall. It weighs approximately 320 g. It is intended primarily for dry indoor surfaces such as concrete, drywall and masonry.
