Infrared Thermometer and Moisture Meter

Measuring functions for home and building sites

The infrared thermometer measures surface temperatures from -38 to +365 °C and displays readings in °C or °F. It can help check for cold bridges and temperature differences around pipes, heating surfaces and windows. Its target laser (laser class 2) helps identify the measurement point.

The building and wood moisture meter measures moisture from 0.2–60% and temperature from 0–50 °C / 32–122 °F. Two selectable material groups support readings on wood and various building materials, including walls, cladding and firewood. The meter's measuring pins have a protective cap.

Operation and handling

• The thermometer has a tolerance of ±2.5 °C or 2.5% and switches off automatically after approximately 60 seconds.
• Both devices have digital displays and a battery replacement indicator.
• The plastic housing supports mobile use. The thermometer weighs approximately 149 g; the moisture meter weighs approximately 102 g.

Typical uses

The set can be used to check for leaks, assess firewood, inspect newly laid floors and check window joints. For particularly sensitive or heavily coated surfaces, spot testing is recommended. Readings on very shiny or reflective surfaces may vary; a matte measurement surface can help.
