Pneumatic Sheet Metal Cutting and Surface Preparation Tools
This workshop set combines a pneumatic sheet metal shear, needle scaler and air maintenance unit for cutting sheet metal, removing coatings and preparing compressed air.
The shear cuts up to 1.2 mm sheet steel or 1.6 mm aluminium. The scaler uses 19 hardened steel needles, and the maintenance unit regulates and filters air with adjustable mist lubrication.

Set components
- Sheet metal shear: For straight and curved cuts, with a 5.5 mm cutting width and a maximum cutting capacity of 1.2 mm in sheet steel and 1.6 mm in aluminium. It has a maximum nominal speed of 3600 min⁻¹, a safety switch with switch-on lock and a powder-coated aluminium housing.
- Needle scaler: Uses 19 hardened steel needles at up to 4000 min⁻¹ to mechanically remove paint, rust and stubborn dirt. An integrated pressure regulator adjusts working intensity; the soft-grip surface supports handling during extended use.
- Air maintenance unit: Combines pressure regulation, a water separator with replaceable filter and adjustable mist lubrication. Working pressure is continuously adjustable from 0.5 to 8 bar. It has a pressure gauge and a tool-free removable reservoir. Mounting hardware is included.
Materials and setup
The tool housings are made of powder-coated aluminium. The shear block and scaler needles are steel. The tools each come with a ¼" plug-in nipple; the air maintenance unit comes with mounting hardware and a quick coupling.
A compressor with a tank capacity of at least 50 litres is recommended.
