The jacket has taped main seams and an outer fabric with a water column of 20 000 mm. Its hood and hem are adjustable with drawcords and stoppers.

The RECCO® reflector helps rescue teams locate a person using a RECCO detector during an avalanche accident or an open-area search. The reflector works without batteries. RECCO reflectors do not replace an avalanche transceiver.
For layering, the source recommends a baselayer that moves sweat away from the skin, a midlayer for warmth, and an outer layer for protection from wind, snow and moisture. The suitable materials depend on the weather conditions.
