Protection and fit
The helmet is designed for forestry work with a chainsaw, hedge trimmer or pole pruner. Its removable flip-up visor has a fine metal mesh that helps shield the face and eyes from flying chips and larger particles while allowing ventilation. The visor distance can be adjusted to suit individual face shapes.
Padded, adjustable ear defenders have a stated rating of 23 dB SNR and can be flipped up when greater hearing ability or communication is needed. The padded headband adjusts continuously with a rotary knob to fit a head circumference of approximately 54–63 cm.
Materials and standards
The helmet combines a plastic shell with a foam pad. It is certified to EN 397 (helmet), EN 1731 (visor) and EN 352-3 (hearing protection).
